Mount Hope Bridge Narragansett Bay
Mount Hope Bridge at the tip of the Bristol Peninsula connecting Aquidneck Island to the mainland. Two ladies searching for sea glass; the shadow of the Bristol Ferry Lighthouse on the bridge support; a bicycle that once made a child happy now abandoned and discarded.
The east side of the bridge is very popular with fishermen who gather there with family and friends. (4) A family from Guatemala and El Salvador. (5) According to Tony from Cape Verde, the fishing was very slow.
On the west side of the bridge, there is a little known public waterfront access path, between large expensive houses with deep water boat docks, that has good views of Hog Island and the bay.
The Bristol harbor and waterfront are popular places to watch the sunset.
